Huntington Beach Police Explorer awarded the 2023 Matt Ward Exploring On Memorial Scholarship

Huntington Beach PD Explorer Lainie Shield was awarded the Matt Ward Memorial Scholarship for 2023. Presenting the award to Laine is Matt’s mother and Exploring On Association President, Gloria Opstad. They are joined by Exploring On Board Members, David Opstad and Anaheim Officer Angus Yu, Matt’s sons, Liam and Anderson Ward, and HBPD Explorer Advisors.
