2026 College Scholarships – Record Breaking 18 Explorers Awarded

This year Matt Memorial Scholarships were awarded 18 to Police Explorers from 7 Explorer Posts in Orange County.

Gloria Opstad, Matt’s mom and President of the Association, along with Board Members, presented each recipient with their award at 7 different Post meetings.

 

Since 2018, The Matt Ward Exploring On Association has granted $117,500 in 61 Matt Ward Memorial Scholarship awards.

 

Thank you to all who support The Matt Ward Exploring On Association!!  We were able to increase the total scholarships awarded from last year’s awards by 50%. Your continued support make these scholarships possible.
