2020 Dueling Pianos Fundraiser

It will be 7 weeks ago Thursday that we had our first big event, the Dueling Piano fundraiser.  Turns out that was the day before the last in-person day of school, before all of our lives and lifestyles changed, before the dark cloud of COVID 19 affected us all.  It seems so long ago.

It is good to reflect on what fun we had.

The event was better that we could have ever hoped:

  • We had almost 150 attendees and volunteers.

  • We had a silent auction and sold 80 themed baskets and individual items
  • There was a short live auction for a couple more.
  • We had a heartfelt testimonial from Joey Gallo, former Explorer and Matt Ward Memorial Scholarship recipient
  • We spread the word about the Matt Ward Exploring On Association and the Police Explorer Programs.
  • Everyone had a great time.
