Today, the last of the twelve 2025 Matt Ward Memorial Scholarships were awarded to Explorers representing four Orange County Explorer Posts. Gloria Opstad, Matt’s mom and President of the Association, along with Board Members, presented each recipient with their award at four different Post meetings and a Cypress High School Award Night. -

March 14, 2025. What a Record Breaking Night! The Board and family thank everyone that came and contributed to the special event!   We started he night off with the Costa Mesa Explorers Honor Guard. We have to thank Tim Sell and Rick Martinez making the night so right! -
This May, the Matt Ward Memorial Scholarship was awarded to 12 Explorers representing 7 Explorer Posts from 12 different high schools and colleges.
