The Police Explorer program provides young men and women the opportunity to gain valuable training and experience in the law enforcement field. One of many goals of the program is to help teenage girls and boys to decide if a career in law enforcement is right for them.
Police Explorers perform a variety of community services such as: Traffic control, crowd control, fingerprinting children and assisting with special events. As part of the program, the explorer will be exposed to many aspects of the police department and will receive training in areas such as:
