Cypress Explorer Post’s New Guidon Flag Honors Matt

On March 25, 2019, Gloria Opstad and Detective Rob Ward (Matt’s mom and brother) presented the newly designed Post 1036 guidon flag featuring Officer Matt Ward’s badge, to the Explorers.  Explorer Advisor, Officer Deanna Hartman pointed out the new addition.  This flag will be displayed at Post events and truly honors Matt and his contribution to this Post and the Explorer program.
